Safe Pupil Training Portal
Grant Parish School Board uses Safe Pupil, also known as Infiniti, to assign and track required employee training modules such as ethics, bullying, suicide prevention, seizure training, dating violence, sudden cardiac arrest, and mandatory reporter training.
Many training modules are completed on outside websites. After finishing an outside training, employees must return to Safe Pupil, open the same assignment again, and follow the Safe Pupil prompts so the assignment shows completed in their training record.
How Safe Pupil Training Works
Use these steps each time a required training assignment appears in your Safe Pupil classroom.
Open Safe Pupil
Use the Safe Pupil Portal button above to open the login screen. Enter the username and password assigned by Ty Melton or your school administrator.
Start the Assignment
In your classroom, select the assigned class. Click Start Class, then select Not Attempted to begin the training module.
Complete Outside Training
Some assignments open a different training website. Create any required account, save your login information, watch the training videos, complete required quizzes, and save your certificate for your records.
Return to Safe Pupil
After the outside training is complete, log back into Safe Pupil, open the same assignment, and follow the prompts so the assignment is marked complete in Safe Pupil.
Quick Reminders
Save outside login information
Safe Pupil staff cannot retrieve usernames or passwords created on outside websites such as Ethics, Jason Foundation, LCWTA, CDC, Epilepsy Foundation, or Code Ana.
Keep certificates for your records
Employees are encouraged to save certificates for their own records. Central Office does not need copies unless specifically requested.
Complete the Safe Pupil certification step
Finishing an outside course does not always complete the Safe Pupil assignment. Return to Safe Pupil and complete the final acknowledgement or quiz step.
