School Support Employee
Outstanding School Support Employee of the Year
The search is now underway for Louisiana’s next Outstanding School Support Employee of the Year honorees. We invite teachers, principals, district employees, colleagues, parents, students, community members, and school support employees themselves to nominate individuals whose dedication and service make a meaningful, lasting difference for students, schools, and their communities.
Eligible nominees include paraprofessionals, school bus drivers, food service workers, clerical staff, custodial and maintenance personnel.
Multiple nominations and self-nominations are welcome.
2027 Recognition
Teacher & Principal of the Year
It is time to celebrate our incredible educational leaders! We are officially opening nominations for the 2027 Teacher of the Year and Principal of the Year awards.
Our staff goes above and beyond every day to support our students, families, and community. This is your chance to recognize a teacher or principal who makes an extraordinary impact.
Nomination categories include Principal, Teacher, New Teacher (less than one year of teaching experience), and Early Childhood Teacher (Pre-K and Kindergarten).
Teachers, principals, district employees, parents, students, colleagues, and community members are encouraged to nominate an outstanding teacher or principal for consideration.
Self-nominations and multiple nominations are welcome.
