  • District technology is for educational purposes and school system business, not personal use.
  • No expectation of privacy — network activity, email, and stored files may be monitored, reviewed, and are subject to public records law.
  • You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and reporting suspected security issues to the Technology Department immediately.
  • Do not attempt to bypass content filters or security systems, or access/transmit illegal, harassing, or inappropriate content.
  • Student and employee personal information (FERPA, La. R.S. 17:3914) may not be shared or disclosed without authorization.
  • Violations can lead to disciplinary action, including suspension, termination, restitution, or legal action.
AI Addendum highlights:
  • Only District-approved AI tools may be used for work involving student data or official District operations.
  • Never enter student PII, employee confidential data, IEP/504 records, health or discipline records, or login credentials into an unapproved AI tool.
  • AI-generated content used in official District communications must be reviewed by an appropriate employee before use.
  • You have no expectation of privacy when using AI tools on District networks, devices, or accounts.
