The Federal Programs Office administers federally funded grants and programs that support student achievement, educator quality, and equitable access to educational opportunities across Grant Parish Public Schools. Federal funding helps ensure that all students have access to the resources they need to succeed.

Federal Funding Sources
Grant Parish Public Schools receives federal funding through title programs authorized under the Every Student Succeeds Act. Each program targets specific areas of student, educator, and school support.
Supporting High-Need Schools
Title I, Part A provides financial assistance to schools with high numbers or high percentages of children from low-income families. Funding helps ensure all students have access to a fair, equitable, and high-quality education and can meet challenging academic standards.
Teacher and Leader Quality
Title II, Part A supports the preparation, training, and recruitment of high-quality teachers, principals, and other school leaders. Funds help improve instruction, support professional development, and strengthen educator effectiveness across the district.
English Learner Support
Title III supports English learners and immigrant students in attaining English proficiency and achieving high levels of academic success. Funds help schools provide effective language instruction programs and build educator capacity to serve English learner students.
Student Support and Academic Enrichment
Title IV, Part A funds support well-rounded educational opportunities, safe and healthy students, and the effective use of technology in schools.
