Grant Parish Public Schools accepts different types of student transfer and hardship requests. Use this page to choose the correct request form before you begin.

Each request type has its own form, requirements, and review process. Submitting a request does not guarantee approval. Requests are reviewed according to district policy, capacity, residency requirements, eligibility rules, and other district factors.

Read the descriptions below and choose the option that best matches where the student lives and what you are requesting.

In-Parish Transfer Request

Use this form if your student lives in Grant Parish and you are requesting for them to attend a different Grant Parish school outside their attendance zone.

This may include a move within Grant Parish, a request related to a parent or guardian’s work location, or another in-parish hardship situation.

Out-of-Parish Enrollment Request

Use this form if your student lives outside Grant Parish and you are requesting for them to attend a Grant Parish Public School.

This request is for families who do not live in Grant Parish but are seeking enrollment in a Grant Parish school.

Release to Another District Request

Use this form if your student lives in Grant Parish and you are requesting a release for them to attend school in another district.

This request is for families seeking permission for a Grant Parish resident student to enroll outside the Grant Parish Public Schools system.

What Happens After You Submit a Request?

  1. 1 Submit the correct form. Choose the request type that matches your situation and complete all required fields.
  2. 2 The request is reviewed. District staff review the information provided and may request additional documentation if needed.
  3. 3 A decision is made. Approval is not automatic. Requests may depend on policy, staffing, capacity, residency, grade-level availability, and other district factors.
