Louisiana measures school and district performance through a comprehensive accountability system that evaluates student achievement, academic growth, and other important indicators. Every school and district receives a School Performance Score (SPS) and letter grade (A–F) based on state assessments, graduation rates, and progress metrics. This page provides direct access to Grant Parish’s school accountability data and individual school report cards as required by federal and state law.

Understanding Louisiana’s Accountability System
Required by La. R.S. 17:7.2. The district must categorize school performance using the state-approved School Performance Score (SPS) and A–F letter grade scale.
Louisiana’s school accountability system assigns each school and district a School Performance Score (SPS) based on multiple indicators. Schools and districts then receive a letter grade from A to F based on their SPS. The following components make up a school’s score:
-
Student Achievement — Performance on state assessments in English language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies across all tested grade levels.
-
Academic Growth — Year-over-year student progress, measuring how much students learn relative to their peers starting from similar performance levels.
-
Graduation Rate — Percentage of students who graduate on time with a regular diploma. Applies to high schools only.
-
Progress Toward English Proficiency — Growth of English learner students toward full English language proficiency on state assessments. Related resources are available on our Federal Programs page.
-
Strength of Diploma — Advanced coursework completion, industry-based credentials, and ACT performance. Applies to high schools only.
Schools and districts receive letter grades on an A–F scale based on their School Performance Score:
-
A
A — School Performance Score of 100.0 or above (up to 150.0)
-
B
B — School Performance Score of 85.0–99.9
-
C
C — School Performance Score of 70.0–84.9
-
D
D — School Performance Score of 50.0–69.9
-
F
F — School Performance Score below 50.0
